What type of shower is best for your bathroom remodel?

There is a huge selection of shower designs and configurations for you to choose from when designing your bathroom remodel. Kalamazoo Bathroom Remodel can help you consider the size and shape of your bathroom, as well as your bathroom's style in order to find the right shower stall.

Quadrant

A quadrant shower enclosure is a great choice if you have a limited bathroom space. Sliding shower doors can give you more variety and room for creativity when updating your bathroom.

Square

If there is enough room, installing a square shower enclosure can give your bathroom a modern and stylish look. Because of the square shape of this shower, there are more combinations of doors and frames that you can use which gives you more style options.

Rectangle

If you think you'll have the space, go big! We recommend Rectangular shower enclosures for those that wish to have plenty of space in the shower.

Framed

Framed enclosures are the most economical choice and sometimes lack aesthetics for functionality. Think about choosing chrome frames instead of brass or bronze for a sharper, sleeker look.

Frameless

The minimalist look of these showers allows for light to stream in and create a roomy home feeling. The shower door is typically made from a single glass panel that moves from the inside of the shower outwards. If the shower glass has a baked finish, it repels soap scum and other dirt without having to scrub it off.

Tile and Glass

Don't be afraid to mix materials for your shower enclosure. Glass, acrylic, and tile can all make great shower enclosures. One way to make the bathroom feel bigger and brighter is mixing the materials used in your remodeled shower.

Sliding

A sliding enclosure is a great option if your bath space does not have room for a swing door. Sliding doors are quicker to install than traditional swinging doors, and allow the versatility to meet any shower design.

Glass Block

In this design, the shower is surrounded by glass blocks halfway and left open on the other side. Plus, the clean lines of a glass block also make it perfect for an elegant looking bathroom.

Textured Glass

Textured glass is an ideal choice for people who value their privacy. With water dripping down the textured glass, it's as if you’re creating your own spa environment. Using textured glass in your bathroom remodeling project will also make the bathroom look bigger.

Dual-Entrance

Modern couples are jumping on the his-and-hers trend with dual entrance shower enclosures. The open sides of this shower also give the room a feeling of openness. These dual-entrance showers are perfect for narrow and tall baths.

Wet Room

These showers do not have any enclosure at all. The open shower with a floor-to-ceiling tiled wall gives the bathroom a harmonious look. Wet rooms are great for those with mobility issues because there is no bottom tray.

Walk-In Shower

Walk-in showers are a great alternative for wet rooms. The bottom of the shower has a tray similar to a conventional one, but it leaves more space on either side.
